Can you guess the definition? Have a look below:

A. To dig around
B. To laugh like a “pig”
C. The sound of a car horn
D. The base of a tree

Give up? If you guess A, you’re right! Now, let’s say “I’m going to the backyard, and rootle!” Funny, how a new sound of an unfamiliar word can make us sound so smart!

Even if you are not going to use this word on a regular basic, it is good for a our brain to learn new thing! Learning will keep our mind sharp!

Hi icy, that is so true that learning keeps not only the mind sharp but it is fun. I liked the quiz and it makes sense with the word root in rootle - to dig around. Although it also sounds like a laughing pig :)

Great job! Icy! I agree that we all have to learn new words. I must confess that I didn’t even know what rootle meant until I read the answer. :)
